Journalists need to be security-conscious in their digital communication – and the need is now, before the whistleblower contacts you or the sensitive data are on their way. The main issue is not the tools you use, but that you are able to understand and analyze your situation and the digital security you need. Danish Freja Wedenborg, author of “Cryptoguide for journalists”, has been instrumental in putting digital safety on the professional agenda in Denmark – and on the curriculum of all journalism schools. Followed by workshop on the most important tools.

Sessions marked (FoX) are organised in collaboration with the European Centre for Press and Media Freedom ECPMF.
